In this role, you will
Be a part of building a new team to develop and implement systems and procedures to deliver results for the New Intercity Fleet and its customers. You would be responsible for developing, applying and reviewing systems, processes and models to manage the operating performance of the New Intercity Fleet (NIF) and other rollingstock projects. You will be required to:
- provide daily performance and attribution reporting for the fleet under a commercial framework intended to drive value for money and efficiency
- undertake investigations into network incidents involving the fleet and associated assets, resolve defects with the maintainer and carry out a range of other assurance based tasks
- support the asset management, commercial and operations work streams in line with key Contract objectives.
- Monitoring and management of supplier performance
- Report on reliability of assets and rolling stock

Please note that this role is based in Kangy Angy, however we welcome applications across the region including Newcastle, Sydney and Dubbo. We also offer flexible work arrangements as long as you are comfortable attending office inn Kangy Angy as and when needed

About you
We are looking for a commercially savvy technically minded Analyst with proven experience in the maintenance of complex technical systems and equipment, such as rolling stock, aircraft, marine or defence. Ideally you will have experience managing a large public sector contract operating with a high degree of autonomy in your day to day work. Experience in managing suppliers and contract performance will be essential for this role. You will also possess the ability to build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a complex and highly commercial environment. Exposure to reporting on reliability and investigating performance related issues will set you up for success.
