In this role, you'll:


• Contribute towards the Strategic  Regional Integrated Transport Plan by conducting in-depth analysis to inform insights that support identification of vision, challenges, opportunities and supporting recommendations, preparing comprehensive documentation/submissions for the development of:

 

- Long-term state-wide transport strategy, frameworks, and guidance.


- Transport strategies, plans, studies, and strategic business cases, aligning with specific NSW geographic areas, integrated networks, or major projects.


- All phases of corridor preservation projects.


• Collaborate seamlessly with specialized teams within the matrix branch structure to optimize planning outcomes, fostering a multidisciplinary approach.


• Actively engage in committees and working groups, representing TfNSW with authority and expertise on external advisory committees.

About you


• Enthusiastic about active transport best practice.


• Experience and skills in transport planning, infrastructure delivery and place excellence.


• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant built environment field, such as Planning, Design or Engineering.


• Demonstrated adaptability to work flexibly across the branch to ensure sufficient resources are allocated to priority projects.


• This role is ideal for someone proactive and capable of working independently, with a knack for anticipating and resolving issues in a complex environment with competing priorities.
