The Division
The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for 5 Image Specialists to join us in the Technology and Innovation team in Rozelle till 31st December 2021.

What you will be involved in:

• Curating a catalogued collection of images by choosing the best 30% of the analogue assets to be digitised.
• Digitising assets using high end professional scanning machinery.
• Cross referencing historical documentation with physical assets.
• Performing repetitive tasks that require a high level of attention and critical thinking.
• Packaging of analogue assets post digitisation for long term archival storage and handover to relevant government archival institutions.

About you

You will extensive experience in relevant technologies, including Hasselblad X5 scanners, experience as professional photographer and experience shooting, developing and scanning photographic films. 

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 7 ($103,965 to $116,641) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
