About us

 

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions. We work with several government agencies to coordinate metro, train, bus, ferry, light rail, road and maritime services, always keeping the safety and comfort of our customers at the heart of what we do.

 

 

About the team

 

The People and Culture Business Partnering branch sits within TfNSW’s People and Culture division. Our purpose is to help our people do their best work by fostering a culture that puts our customers at the centre, our people at the heart, and where we all work together for the greater good.

 

We’re working to plan and prepare for the future – enabling TfNSW to attract, develop and retain the best people, and encourage career growth by building our people’s skills and capabilities. We’re enabling greater flexibility in ways of working and enhanced collaboration amongst teams through new strategic approaches and technology. And we’re making sure we deliver on our commitment to focus on the wellbeing of our people, creating a work environment where people feel supported and cared for.

 

Right now, we’re in the final stages of delivering a new integrated service delivery model for TfNSW and its agencies. This model improves how we work together, building in further flexibility to ensure our workforce can do their best work to support our customers. About you

 

We’re looking for people who are all about delivering a great employee experience.

 

You’re someone with:

  • A focus on customer service

  • A collaborative approach to stakeholder management to engage with a broad range of leaders and people across the organisation

  • Great written and verbal communication skills to tailor clear communications, listen to stakeholder needs and share information with different groups

  • A proactive, flexible and practical mindset for managing priorities and solving problems

 

If you’re interested in a senior position, you can also demonstrate:

  • Working knowledge and experience in HR – policies, practices and systems.

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
