Corridor Safety Services Manager

In this role, you'll:
Working as part of the Network Maintenance Corridor Safety team this role will see you oversee the day of operations and lead and manage a team comprising of Permanent Protection Officers, Track Protection Specialists, Corridor Safety Officers, Team Managers and Rosterer who provide twenty-four (24) hours support to ensure safe practices are adhered to in the application of the Network Rules and Procedures when implementing site protection.

About you
You are a subject matter expert when it comes to Worksite Protection and Network Rules and Procedures with the ability to resolve complex issues and facilitate coaching on planning and operational activities to your team and a wide range of stakeholders.
This includes demonstrated experience of Rail Safety and Risk Management and relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice and exposure to possession planning and coordination in an operating rail environment.
You have demonstrated experience in managing medium to large teams with leadership skills in developing staff by means of training, professional mentoring and support.
As a specialist role it is also essential that you have acquired a Protection Officer Level 4 on commencement or, will successfully obtain this within 6 months in the new role.
