In this role, you'll:

 

  • You will provide professional advice, support and coaching for leaders to foster collaborative workplace relations.

 

  • You will lead the employee relations activities through partnering with line managers in the effective engagement and management of staff and interaction with unions

 

  • You will shape and implement Employee Relations frameworks and strategies aimed at enabling the workforce priorities to ensure high levels of engagement.

 

We have both permanent and temporary positions available in a hybrid working model with flexibility to work in our Pitt Street/Elizabeth Street/Burwood offices.

About you

 

You will have comprehensive knowledge of the industrial relations discipline combined with strong negotiation skills and proven ability to be innovative in resolving industrial disputes.

 

You will be comfortable in a fast-paced complex customer centric and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines, managing conflicting priorities are critical.

 

You’ll maintain a high standard of work, and having previously worked in a similar environment, you are aware of the political sensitivities and maintain confidentiality in what you do.
