In this role, you'll:
- Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes)
- Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3
- Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when not operating the Truck.
- Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow.
- Perform required truck checks and routine maintenance on the trucks you operate.
- Participate in team meetings contributing to continuous improvement for WH&S.
In addition to the above, there may be requirements to work outside of normal working hours including occassional night shifts or away from home.
This position is based out of Albion Park and will operate under our Bridge Works team.
We take the WH&S of or employees seriously and therefore the successful candidate will be required to reside within 50km to the Albion Park depot or is willing to relocate.

About you
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.
We are seeking those that reside within a 50km distance depot as you will be on call when required.
You will have the following tickets and experience:
- White Card
- Medium Rigid Driver Licence
- Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
- A strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
- Traffic Control Certification (Implement Traffic Control)
A higher class of truck licence and C2 crane licence will be ideal but not essential.
