In this role, you'll:
Take on an important and unique role in Sydney Trains where you’ll work toward the implementation of major security projects and programs and provide advice and feedback to promote continuous improvement and maintain efficiency.
Be a key contact on various projects as you provide advice and review designs for any security risks that are or could be present. You’ll attend sites with project managers to ensure all work is being done in compliance with relevant standards and risk management processes.
It is a varied role that has a mix of site and office requirement, you could be on a project from start to finish, or providing advice at early phases, etc. The role will see you engaged in writing reports, working closeley with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and presenitng recommendations and reports at risk management meetings.
This is a permanent, fulltime position working with a collaborative, busy, and high performing team.

About you
You come from a risk management/infrastructure background and have a fundamental knowledge of security risk management and the technical acumen to understand and interpret relevant standards and documentation. You combine this with excellent communication (written and oral) skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
You will have substantial experience in the provision of security advice through your knowledge of contemporray security. You will also have relevant experience in providing on site advice from a risk, security, safety, or investigations standpoint, as well as relevant project-based experience.
