The opportunity

 

We are seeking a motivated individual to join us and work across a broad range of Rail Infrastructure projects on a 24 Month Temporary Full Time basis. Your role will be to assist in providing specialist rail surveys to support our rail network, this will include the use of/managing conventional and modern data capture technologies and associated deliverables. You will be mentored by experienced leaders to gain a solid understanding of how surveying relates to and supports the asset lifecycle.

 

As a graduate surveyor, the focus of your training will be to gain expertise in Railway surveying. You will receive mentorship and be offered progression opportunities within the organisation that will see you take your career to the next level including:

About you

 

To be considered for this role you will hold a degree in Surveying (recognised by BOSSI) and a proven ability to produce technical sketches, drawings and reports. You will have good interpersonal and negotiating skills, you enjoy collaborating with others and are happy to lead a small survey field party.

 

You’ll also need:

 

  • Demonstrated ability in the accurate and efficient use of surveying instruments and equipment
  • Willingness to attain safeworking qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of relevant software, including an understanding of CAD

Salary and Benefits

 

The salary for this position is RC4 Grade A-E $88,399 - $101,947 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
