In this role, you'll:


Working as part of the Major Works Project Procurement team, this role will see you ensure delivery of procurement functions and support with the delivery of projects by providing purchasing support across the Procure to Pay process, including supporting claims processing for Projects.


Your focus will be with Engineering & Maintenances' existing supplier catalogue.


This is a highly collaborative role providing purchasing support to programme and project managers, engineers and works management staff,  assuring all phases of the project lifecycle are captured, supporting the delivery of our Annual Works Program.

About you


You are a resilient, highly organised and self-motivated person looking to expand your skills and experience in a purchasing/procurement role.


You must be able to juggle multiple tasks, providing accurate and prompt support whilst seeking process improvement opportunities.


 Ideally you will possess a background in purchasing within a construction or transport based engineering industry.


 Capability to use ERP systems (such as SAP, Equip and Ariba) and MSOffice for data collection, configuration, interpretation and reporting is preferred, or, willingness to learn.
