Rail Maintainer - Electrical (Temporary Opportunity up to 24 months)

In this role, you'll:
You will inspect, install, replace, and repair systems, equipment and components on passenger trains to contribute to the reliability and availability levels for Sydney Trains passenger fleet.
Focus on completing train upgrade works and modifications to align existing operational fleet with modern standards of technology and customer experience.
This includes installation of wiring harnesses, terminations, assembly of electrical components, and general installation activities in accordance with installation instructions.
This role will report directly to production team leaders and production delivery managers.
Successful candidates will need to be willing to undertake training and the completion of competency modules.
These are shift-based roles in a 24/7 project environment, which includes night/afternoon shifts and overtime provisions.
The advertised pay rate does not reflect / include penalties and allowances incurred with a 24/7 rotating shift roster.

About you
You’re a team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
You can work alone or can effectively collaborate with others to problem solve and get the job done.
You may have experience in a similar field or a trade background, however on the job training is provided.
Electrical trade qualified with a certificate of proficiency.
