In this role, you'll:


Work within our Engineering and System Integrity (ESI) Branch of Sydney Trains within the Substation team of ESI Electrical Engineering.

This role will see you providing technical expertise for electrical internal and external designs, investigations, development of technical standards, scopes of work, feasibility studies and project costings. 

 

This will include high voltage traction substations, sectioning huts, AC circuit breaker replacements, rectifier upgrades, 415V AC auxiliary supply upgrades and 120V DC, 1500V isolation rail connection switches upgrades.

You will be involved in running meetings and conducting presentations, writing reports and reviewing control schematics as well as the occasional field work to Substations for site inspections, commissioning and or support for incidents.

About you


You hold a relevant Electrical Engineering degree qualification combined with strong experience in Power Engineering and producing control schematics and detailed arrangement drawings.

You’re recognised as someone with proven experience in successfully engaging with complex stakeholder environments both internal and external and have proven skills to run meetings and conduct technical presentations.

This is an Award RC6 Permanent Full-Time role, based at Clyde, with flexibility through our Hybrid working model!
