About you

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in the design, implementation, and support of critical infrastructure systems across complex operational environments. You will bring proven experience in Control Systems, networking, data centre infrastructure, and safety-critical systems—ideally within the rail or transport sector. Your ability to interpret and apply engineering standards, manage competing priorities, and contribute to high-reliability outcomes will be key to your success in this role.

This role is ideal for a confident and capable Technical Specialist who understands the importance of compliance, system safety, and availability within a live operational environment.

You have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, the ability to produce and review technical documentation, and a solid understanding of systems engineering principles and risk management in infrastructure delivery.

If you are ready to play a crucial role in supporting and advancing Sydney Trains’ mission through resilient control systems infrastructure, we’d like to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role offering flexible work arrangements aligned with NSW Government policies, combining on-site presence based on project needs with remote work to support effective collaboration and productivity.

The role may also require occasional weekend and night shift work, depending on the specific demands and timelines of the projects you’ll be supporting.
