About the team

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent part-time Customer Attendants Qualified to join our Customer Service Delivery team based at Casino station. Our Customer Service Delivery team members are the face of NSW TrainLink, ensuring our customers have a great experience using our services. 

 

The opportunity

We’re looking for passionate individuals who have experience in a customer service environment and are committed to delivering a high standard of customer service to exceed customer expectations and provide them with an unforgettable experience

Someone who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and who can deal with a variety of stakeholders.

The successful applicants will be proactive and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We need people who can work well under pressure to ensure the safety of our customers and crew. 

 

The Role

Customer Attendant Qualified are responsible for performing a full range of station functions including ticketing, luggage handling, assisting passengers to board connecting services, cleaning and maintenance of the station premises including the daily terminating train. Salary is $1,119.25 per week (pro-rata) including superannuation and leave loading. For more information, please refer to the Role Description Customer Attendant Qualified

 

A Talent Pool will also be created to fill both fixed term and permanent opportunities that become available at Casino over the next 18 months.   

 

About you

 

Essential requirements:

  • You must be able and willing to work across a 28-day 30 hours per fortnight. Rotating Shift Work Roster including weekends and public holidays. The rotational shifts being, Day: 6:30am – 9:30am. Night: 5:15pm – 8:15pm. Extended hours may be necessary at short notice.
  • Own transport is beneficial as some shifts start times are out of train operating hours.
