In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of Sydney Trains’ Engineering and Maintenance branch within Major Works. Our team deliver a range of major and minor high voltage construction works, routine maintenance and emergency services that ensure a safe and reliable network for our metropolitan and regional customers.
You’ll carry construction of works to agreed high standard and within set timeframes in accordance with Signalling Technical Maintenance plans, Signalling Construction Standards and Infrastructure Engineering Manuals.

About you
You’re a skilled tradesperson keen to work within a high preforming team and support our Work Group and Team Leaders in meeting agreed high voltage projects.
You’re motivated and respect others whilst recognising the importance of community. You love working outdoors and being able to carry out manual work following detailed safety and work instructions.
You’ll have worked in a high voltage construction or heavy industrial environment having completed a Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Underground or equivalent.
You take health and safety as seriously as we do and are passionate about being part of a team that delivers impactful health and safety outcomes so that everyone goes home safely every day.
These are shift-based roles in a 24/7 environment, you will work as part of a team to support our network and as such will be required to work night shift, weekend work, overtime and on-call availability as well as living away from home if required.
