Infrastructure Worker - Signal Cable Jointer

In this role, you'll be:

Be working within Sydney Trains’ Engineering and Maintenance branch, Major Works. Our teams deliver a range of major and minor construction works, routine maintenance and emergency services that ensure a safe and reliable network for our metropolitan and regional customers.

We are looking for skilled tradespeople to take up roles in our Signal Cable Jointer teams.

This role will see you carrying out maintenance, emergency repair and construction of works to agreed high standard and within set timeframes in accordance with Signalling Technical Maintenance plans, Signalling Construction Standards and Infrastructure Engineering Manuals.  

You also understand that our network never stops so are prepared to support the network by working nights, weekends and overtime with some on-call availability as well as living away from home if required.

About you

You are motivated and respect others whilst recognising the importance of community. Your experience in construction or a heavy industrial environment, makes you a great candidate for this opportunity. You love working outdoors and being able to carry out manual work to detailed safety and work instructions.
