Infrastructure Worker - Track, Civil & Structures

In this role, you'll:

Work as part of our Engineering and Maintenance team, you will be involved in routine maintenance and emergency services.

You’ll be involved in regular maintenance inspections, corrective works and reconstruction projects ranging from minor track repairs to major track reconstruction projects including refurbishments on our assets such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

You will play an integral part in connecting communities so they can work, rest and play. Plus, railways are climate-smart, efficient, promote economic growth whilst cutting greenhouse gas emissions and in many cases, are faster than a car, bus, or plane; so, you’ll be part of something cool. 

In our Civil team - Infrastructure Worker employees are responsible for the inspections, building, upgrading and repair of civil infrastructure such as drainage, retaining walls, overhead wiring structures and culverts and as such require civil construction experience.

You also understand that our network never stops so are prepared to support the network by working nights, weekends, and overtime with some on-call availability as well as living away from home if required.
