In this role, you'll:
Joining the Major Works Division (MWD) of the Engineering and Maintenance Directorate within Sydney Trains, this role will see you manage and lead the Project Controls core function and team to ensure the efficient and
effective monitoring and management of multi-discipline projects, programs and portfolio.
You will coordinate the implementation and on-going application of a Project Controls Management Methodology framework that provides an enterprise view of all project and program delivery activity and review data validations to highlight critical issues across project controls discipline to inform stakeholders and enable evidence-based decision making.
This is a permanent role.

About you
You will have significant experience in large scale engineering projects, where you have successfully delivered key control and support functions in a complex environment.
Along with having a strong background in project controls management and data analytics, the ideal candidate will have experience implementing process optimization and improvements in a project management best practice environment.
As a natural people person, you will have excellent stakeholder management capability with the ability to influence, coach and upskill stakeholders to adopt a ‘best practice’ approach to project management.
You also will have demonstrated experience in visual reporting and in implementing new tools, systems and processes to improve cost control, project and programs performance management and reporting in an infrastructure environment. You are proficent in Excel.
