  • Located in our state-of-the-art offices in Clyde (close to public transport).
  • RC Grade 6 ($127,559 - $141,442) + Super and annual leave loading + Penalties

About the Team

Major Works is the major brownfield construction hub at Sydney Trains. Providing Engineering and Maintenance work across the Sydney Trains Network. There are over 1000 staff in the directorate which operate in a fast paced multi-disciplinary project environment.


The opportunity

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to deliver a diverse and challenging range of projects within a dynamic and complex organisation? We’re looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm and a fresh view of operational technology to rail. Our aim is to foster a diversity of thought within our team. Bring your balance of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to working collaboratively with our close-knit team. You’re able to establish relationships and will enjoy communicating with your key stakeholders on a regular basis.

About you


To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following:   


  • Hold Tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) in Project Management or Engineering discipline, and/or demonstrated experience in the delivery of Telecommunications, Condition Monitoring, Electronic Surveillance or IT Industry projects from inception to completion;
  • Experience with Telecommunications, Condition Monitoring, Electronic Surveillance or IT Industry projects preferably as they relate to the rail industry;
  • Experience in document and specification preparation, to contribute to the tendering process, including costing projects and preparing budgets.
