Clyde, NSW, AU, 2142
You crave a career that pushes you, where you’ll meet challenges head on and you’re guaranteed to grow.
You’ve been developing your skills and are ready to work on projects that matter to the people of NSW. You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a great team.
In this role, you’ll:
Play a key role in coordinating the movement of work trains during critical track possession periods. Your responsibilities will help ensure both the safety of the network and the seamless delivery of maintenance and infrastructure upgrades across the Sydney Trains network.
You’ll work closely with other operational staff and play a key part in delivering high-quality project outcomes by managing safeworking arrangements, coordinating train movements, and ensuring on-site safety.
You'll be responsible for safely managing and directing the movement of work trains within possession areas, while maintaining clear and constant communication with Signallers, Controllers, Worksite Supervisors, and other key stakeholders to ensure all operations run smoothly and safely.
Your duties will include conducting shunting, marshalling, and piloting of trains during possessions, as well as accurately interpreting and applying safeworking procedures, notices, and diagrams.
You'll also be involved in implementing the correct worksite protection arrangements to support the safe and efficient delivery of scheduled works.
