In this role, you’ll:

 

Work with the Transport Shared Services (TSS) team that sits within the Corporate Services branch of TfNSW. They service over 300,000 external customers ranging from Local Government representatives to citizens. The Financial and Procurement Services teams sit within Transport Shared Services (TSS) which provides a range of business services and manage enquiries across Transport in the service areas of finance, procurement, people and workplace management. This role will see you provide first-rate customer support to multi-channel customers for procurement-related enquiries, as well as processing transactions and collaborating across our welcoming and inclusive team.. You would be responsible for engaging with, developing and maintaining effective relationships and open channels of communication with internal and external stakeholders. You would process a range of transactions across the service line accurately and efficiently, referencing shared service knowledge articles to ensure the transaction is consistently executed accordingly to requirements. This role would see you effectively use a range of computerised systems, technology and telephony solutions to undertake work tasks, triage, refer or escalate work tasks, enter data and maintain up to date records in order to facilitate work allocation, performance analysis and service improvement

 

You will maintain a high level of confidentiality and accountability of all data collected work in a dynamic environment where priorities and work tasks may change at short notice.

 

Please note that we have miltiple roles available across 2 locations. The choice of base location for these fixed term (6months) roles is Dubbo or Wollongong, Also a talent pool would be created for upcoming future opportunities in and around Dubbo/Wollongong.

About you 

 

You are passionate about delivering exceptional quality service to customers. You’ll have some experience in delivering this exceptional support and customer services preferably across a procurement, finance, or accounting branch.

 

Your background in contact centres, service centres, or shared services centre will be pivotal to your success in this role. Any experience in Procurement or accounting related functions would be highly regarded. Ideally, you’ll have a strong grasp how to juggle high volumes of varied and diverse customer inquiries and always willing to go the extra mile to adapt and learn new technology (systems and hardware) to improve yourself.

 

Most importantly:

 

  • Having experience in Procurement functions is highly desirable

  • A problem solver who enjoys receiving different customer issues and getting to the bottom of things quickly and effectively

  • Enthusiastic and friendly who is passionate about assisting others

  • Strong communicator both written and verbally, using defined processes, computerised systems, telephony and technology solutions to respond to customers

  • High level of organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively

  • You have great stakeholder engagement and customer service skills thereby ensuring quick and through service to the internal and external customers
