Road Worker - Goolgowi (12 month temporary opportunity)

In this role, you'll:

• Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.
• Undertake road maintenance activities which may include, but not limited to, pavement repairs, road corridor maintenance, road pavement rehabilitation, and small and heavy patching works.
• Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs where required. 
• Be prepared to work on a 12-month fixed term contract.

About you: 

You are a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.

You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.

You must hold the following tickets/ licences: 

• White Card
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence
• Traffic Control Tickets (implement Traffic Control Plan / Workers On Foot)

You will live within a 100 km radius to the Goolgowi Works Centre and are prepared to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, and work away from home when needed. 

A Truck Licence, class Medium Rigid (MR) or higher, chemical spray ticket, working safely under Power Lines will be beneficial but not essential for this role.

This is a 12 month fixed-term opportunity.
