Truck Driver (MR Gang) - Goolgowi

In this role, you'll:
- Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes)
- Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow.
- Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3
- Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when not operating the Truck.
- Perform required truck checks and routine maintenance on the trucks you operate.
- Participate in team meetings contributing to continuous improvement for WH&S.
In addition to the above, there may be requirements to work outside of normal working hours and away from home.
This position will be based out of Goolgowi and will operate within our maintenance team.

About you:
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.
We are seeking those that reside within a 50 km distance from the Goolgowi depot as you will be on call when required.
You will have the following tickets and experience:
- White Card
- Medium Rigid Driver Licence
- Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
- A strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
Traffic Control Certification (Implement Traffic Control) is preferred but not an essential requirment as training can be provided.
A higher class of Truck Licence is prefferred but not essential.
