In this role, you'll:


Be part of a team supporting Transport for NSW’s Future Transport strategy by assisting with geospatial and engineering field surveys.

 

This role will see you contribute to the delivery of survey services, ensuring timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and presentation that meets client needs and the objectives of the Technical Services team.

 

You’ll support the survey team by calibrating and maintaining essential survey equipment and vehicles, while also assisting with minor field survey tasks under guidance, all within a dynamic and supportive environment.

This is a Permanent full-time opportunity, based in Grafton.

About you


Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask have been honed through experience in surveying or related fields, and will help you excel in data collection, analysis, and equipment maintenance.

 

You’re recognized for your proactive approach to problem-solving, your capability to build effective relationships, and your commitment to upholding WHS standards.

 

Skilled in organisational and planning tasks, you bring a solid foundation in surveying and spatial data capture processes, ready to contribute effectively within cross-functional teams. You’re also eligible to pursue a Diploma of Surveying qualification.



Key Knowledge and Experience:


• Knowledge of surveying and spatial data capture procedures.


• Understanding of relevant procedures, policies, and legislative requirements.



Essential Requirements:


• Eligibility for a Diploma of Surveying qualification.


• Willingness to work outside regular hours, including weekends and night shifts, in all weather conditions. This role may involve frequent travel within NSW.
