The opportunity


We have a new opportunity for Analyst BCP (Business Continuity Planning), ongoing full time role within IT Business Resilience. The role is to contribute to a range of analysis, reporting, and implementation activities to deliver and continuously improve cyber defence, risk and resilience services across the Transport cluster.


What you will be involved in:


  • Delivery and implementation of the Business Continuity Management System to support IT for Transport CIO, Central Services and Directorates according to ISO 22301 and ISO 22313
  • Supporting the writing and facilitation of Desktop Exercises for Business Continuity and Crisis Management, including maintaining the IT for Transport Exercise Program and the Lessons Management database.

About you


To be successful in the role you will have:


  • A professional or tertiary qualification in Business Continuity Management ideally from either the Business Continuity Institute or the Disaster Recovery Institute
  • A minimum of 3 years’ practical experience as a Business Continuity Management Practitioner with a good understanding of Organisational Resilience principles according to ISO 22316
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and highly developed communications skills
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines while balancing competing priorities.



Salary and Benefits


The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7 ($106,086.00 - $ 118,816.00) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
