The opportunity 


Right now, we have an opportunity for a Technical Identity Access Management Analyst to join our Enterprise Identity Team. The primary purpose of the role is to analyse, design and maintain effective, efficient and secure Identity and Access Management for Transport for NSW.


Your key accountabilities are:


  • Analyse, design and document Identity Access Management (IAM), related process and technical solutions. Monitor the effectiveness of and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships and collaborate to promote improved cyber defence, risk and resilience practices.
  • Review, maintain and support existing IAM solutions, processes, underlying Identity data and systems. Work with the business and security for IAM requirements discovery and definition.
  • Provide functional and non-functional analysis to enable the key business needs to be translated into technical specifications to facilitate the delivery of an enhanced experience in the area of account, identity and access management.
  • Assist with the Identity Governance services for user access review, provisioning, service accounts management.
  • Contribute to Transport security policy, standards and guidelines. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the rapidly evolving cyber regulatory environment.
  • Facilitating workshops, conducting gap analysis, story boarding and drawing customer journey maps.
  • Be responsible for highlighting control exceptions for remediation and act upon recommendations and outcomes from audit reports.

About you  


  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the rapidly evolving cyber security, risk and resilience landscape, including threats, technologies, policies, and regulatory environment
  • Operating with autonomy in respect to balancing competing and complex work priorities within the agreed work plan and being fully accountable for the quality of the work provided.
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborative, constructive, and productive relationships with stakeholders across the Transport Cluster, who may have different priorities and ways of working.
  • You will have solid stakeholder management skills and be able to influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • Previous experience in running workshops and presentations.
  • Previous experience with mainstream IAM products (e.g., Oracle, Azure AD, Active Directories, Sailpoint, Dell, Okta, Thycotic, etc.) is highly desirable



Salary and Benefits 


The salary for this position is Grade 8 ($120423 - $143872) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
