In this role, you'll:


 Join the TfNSW Zero Emission Bus Greater Sydney Stage 1 (ZEB GS S1) Program, an exciting multi-billion dollar program to transition the state’s 8,000 plus diesel and compressed natural gas buses and coaches to zero emissions technology.

The  NSW Government plans to transition 4,000 buses in Greater Sydney by 2035, followed by buses in Outer Metro regions by 2040 and then Regional NSW buses and coaches by 2047. Transitioning the entire fleet of buses and coaches reduces TfNSW’s emissions by 78 percent and reduces noise, improves air quality and ensures commuters enjoy a smoother ride and comfortable journey.

The ZEB GS S1 is the first step of the ZEB Transition Plan which focuses on procurement of approximately 1,500 battery electric buses while undertaking infrastructure conversions in existing bus depots, construction of a new bus depot, upgrades to the power grid network as well as the procurement of renewable energy for bus charging.

This program is a Coordinator General division program that is supported resources from across other divisions in TfNSW. It is based in the Public Transport business unit and works closely with the Bus Contracts and Programs team.

•Be a proactive Contracts Administrator with experience in a contract or project environment providing support to the delivery of quality service in a customer focused environment


•Work as part of a small team in an evolving environment with the ability to communicate with established internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success in this role


•Support the Commercial Manager and Senior Contract Administrator to ensure the commercial protection of the ZEB GS S1 via its contractual management arrangements, including being responsible for providing commercial support and timely advise, managing systems, processes and reporting of contracts


•Be familiar with NSW government procurement policies and procedures, e.g., NSW Procurement Guidelines and source to contract.

The program team is based in Elizabeth St, Sydney two days a week and aligns with TfNSW’s flexible working arrangements.

About you

You are an experienced Contracts Administrator with demonstrated experience in the source-to-contract process

Experience with advanced MS excel, Outlook, Beeline, SAP, Objective and Transport Delegation Schedules will be high desirable

Maintain accurate and up to date contract files for all ZEB GS S1 contracts including Professional Services Contracts. Working with the ZEB GS S1 project team for engagement documentation, briefing note drafting and internal approvals, contract documentation establishment, purchase order processing and reconciliations and SOPA payment processes and reconciliations

Perform purchase order and invoice validation, manage payments and reconciliation on behalf of the Commercial Manager and ZEB GS S1 team.
Provide support in a range of activities including briefing note preparation and procurement documentation, managing the variation process for contracts, preparing documentation for contract performance.

Strong stakeholder management and record keeping skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of organisation and time management to support the delivery of a quality procurement support service in a new exciting and evolving part of the organisation
