Data Analyst (4 Month Temporary Opportunity)

In this role, you'll:

Join our Enterprise Security, Crisis and Emergency Management team and work with the Insights and Solutions team to undertake the acquisition, quality assurance, analysis, interpretation, manipulation, visualisation and dissemination of data to provide trusted data services supporting business and customer outcomes.

You will be working to ensure the acquisition, quality assurance and delivery of high quality and accurate data from data suppliers to support users in a required time frame.

About you

• Acquire, validate, and deliver accurate operational data from multiple sources to support business and operational needs within agreed timeframes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with data suppliers, transport operators, and internal teams to ensure consistent and timely data provision.
• Create and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
• Use SQL (Postgres) to extract, clean, and transform data, ensuring high-quality outputs in a cloud-based Azure environment.
• Document changes to the data environment and contribute to resolving data issues by working closely with stakeholders and escalating where needed.
