About us


The Integrated Precincts team in the Development branch of TfNSW has some exciting opportunities available for place-making professionals to join our team!


Whether you’re an engineer, urban designer, architect, land use planner, transport planner, economist, business case expert or any kind of expert in the infrastructure space, we want to hear from you.


We are a multi-disciplinary team, working across all transport modes and focused on positive place and customer outcomes. We work across four streams: Interchanges, Active Transport, Accessibility and Precincts throughout NSW, and our portfolio is expanding.


We have various Deputy Project Manager roles across our multi-modal portfolio. You’ll be involved in leading the development of projects from early concepts through to delivery readiness. We work closely with Delivery and Client teams, the Community and other stakeholders to ensure great project outcomes aligned with Client requirements, stakeholder expectations and strategic priorities.

Our team leads the development of projects from inception, through concept design, business case development and assurance to successful handover to delivery partners.  We employ design-led thinking along with a multi-modal and multi-disciplinary lens to drive project success. What we are looking for


Right now, we are looking to expand our high performing and diverse team to fill Deputy Project Manager roles. There are opportunities for permanent full time, limited duration (up to September 2024) or permanent part time (3 days per week).  


We are seeking people with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and development acumen to employ a highly collaborative approach in working with internal and external stakeholders, technical advisors, and subject matter experts. We need both passion and a practical mind set to develop solutions that will deliver great outcomes within the funding and schedule requirements.


People with qualifications and industry experience in Transport Planning, Urban and Landscape Design, Land Use Planning, Engineering, Communications, Environment & Sustainability, Construction are strongly encouraged to apply.
