Director Workplace Strategy & Accommodation - People, Communications & Workplaces (Perm Opp)

Reporting to the Executive Director Workplaces, you will play a key role in crafting the future of Transport for NSW workplaces with a blend of leadership, strategy, and purpose.  As Director Workplace Strategy & Accommodation, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining how our organisation creates & supports workspaces for our people.
 
Your role will focus on leading a team to deliver property and occupancy strategies, design workplace solutions that align with the organisation’s objectives. Supporting these strategies will require you to manage Workplace business cases and financial planning in a in a tight financial environment.

This is an ongoing (perm) Transport Senior Service role TSSE1B Level position offering flexible working arrangements, including a mix of in-person and hybrid days and an attractive remuneration package.  For more information on Employee Benefits at TfNSW please click here.

About you

You are a collaborative and talented people leader skilled in operating in a complex customer centric environment. You know how to build strong relationships, collaborate and communicate effectively with senior executives to drive outcomes.

You will pride yourself on always being a step ahead, anticipating and addressing potential issues before they arise. You are skilled in managing competing demands and managing sensitive matters accordingly.

What we’re looking for:

• Expertise in Workplace or Property Strategy/Design, with complementary experience in Real Estate, Projects, or Workplace Operations beneficial.

• Leadership experience in complex organisations; government experience preferred.

• Proactive and collaborative leader who fosters a positive, high-performing culture.

• Skilled in developing business cases and partnering with finance to achieve strategic goals
