The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are a dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.

 

 

The opportunity

 

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join us in the Industry Engagement and Development team within the Infrastructure and Place division. 

 

The role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of visual communication tools to engage our audience. We are looking for a creative thinker who is keen to pitch ideas and work across a variety of media including digital and animation.

About you

 

You have appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or significant industry experience in design or visual arts.

 

You are a highly organised self-starter and effective communicator who has experience working collaboratively with diverse and varied groups. As a self-motivated go-getter you can confidently manage your workload and show initiative in all aspects of the role.

 

You will also have:

 

  • High level proficiency in the use of Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects
  • A strong interest in animation and excellent knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and other relevant Adobe software
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office suite (Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
  • Experience using EDM software such as Campaign Monitor or the like will also be highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and relationship building across diverse groups
  • The ability to independently work to deadlines.

 

You have a proven track record of:

 

  • Excellent communication skills, allowing you to translate design principles into workable solutions
  • Using your creative and critical thinking to interpret design requests – sometimes reading between the lines
  • Engaging fully with the team and business to understand the drivers that lead to design requests
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach, consistently demonstrating initiative and creativity

 

You are someone who works collaboratively with others and builds and maintains strong team relationships. The successful candidate will be committed to managing and prioritising competing demands and responsibilities in a busy and evolving environment.

 

 

Salary and Benefits
