In this role, you'll:
Be an integral part of the Transport Modelling Function within Planning, Integration and Passenger (PIP) Division. You will be accountable for the development, management and delivery of Sydney Activity-Based Transport Model (ABM) project, so that planned outcomes are achieved, particularly related to schedule, scope, budget and benefit realisation.
Deliver ABM and other transport foundational model development projects within work programs including managing the development of operational and project scopes, business cases, project submissions, communications and reporting, project scheduling and resourcing, so projects are safely delivered on time, on budget and to the specified scope and quality outcomes.
Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the program, and program deliverables are met.
Develop detailed project budget and forecast cash flows/milestones from the approved budget, recommend approval of costs and variations, monitor and control project costs and report on expenditure.
Coordinate and communicate engineering alternatives/options to non-technical audiences to ensure the organisation can provide safe and commercially viable solutions to engineering problems.
Fixed Term Full Time opportunity (up to 12 months) | Home office Macquarie Park Office. Flexible working arrangements with a balance of office and work from home options.

About you
You are a project management professional with demonstrated experience in:
- Tertiary qualifications in project management and/or demonstrated equivalent experience in managing programs or multiple interdependent projects.
- Managing transport planning or modelling projects, highly regarded.
- Building productive, collaborative and cooperative relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and service providers to ensure best practice project management while delivering complex and challenging projects.
- Agile methodologies and processes highly regarded.
