About the team


The Senior Systems Administrator sits within the Commercial, Performance and Strategy, a branch of the Infrastructure and Place division. 


Working with the team to implement industry leading systems and applications to collect and manage technology project information for the cluster.




The opportunity


This role will be part of a team in implementing industry leading systems and applications to collect and manage Infrastructure and Place project information. Key in leading the provision of development, support and maintenance of end-user applications to collect and manage project and contract information, this role will ensure continuous improvement in the way information is managed throughout the project lifecycle with user centric, integrated solutions. The role will also research and investigate advanced analytics capabilities to integrate into project information systems to deliver actionable recommendations to projects to improve customer experience, planning, and delivery of infrastructure.


Responsibilities will include and not be limited to:


  •  Provide impetus for change across the portfolio through the provision of relevant, accurate accessible and credible information and analysis which supports both the vision for Analytics and Applications and the development of customer focussed change strategies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of programs to enhance project information systems and applications to support Infrastructure and Place projects based on defined a business architecture that minimises bespoke application development and capitalises on industry leading technology solutions that support infrastructure project delivery. 
  • Lead the transition of application infrastructure support and management to Group IT

About you


You will have experience in managing user expectations effectively to ensure full utilisation of end-user applications to support project development and delivery. 


Experienced with quality of all deliverables in a high volume work environment and ability to meet demands resulting from tight timeframes and competing priorities. 


You will be able to initiate and manage continuous improvement projects to ensure currency and integrity of project and contract information with minimal disruption to system utilisation.




Salary and Benefits


This is a full-time permanent opportunity to play an influential role in how Transport for NSW engages with our contractors and leave a legacy for the people of NSW. 


This is a Grade 9 position with a remuneration $135,898 - $152,204.
