In this role, you'll:
Provide exceptional customer service when assisting staff and passengers with their inquiries; help with luggage and assist passengers with connecting regional services on their journey throughout NSW.
Coordinate a broad range of day-to-day station functions including customer service, servicing the staff barracks, general station cleaning and maintenance.
Work alongside our train crew and other stakeholders to ensure that all safety standards are met and manage any potential safety risks that may arise and impact staff and passengers.
The Customer Attendant position that we have currently have available is a permanent part-time role working a minimum of 20 hours per week on a fixed roster working from Monday to Friday. Shift Hours are 11:00 am to 16:00: pm and 19:30 pm to 23:30 pm. There will also be opportunities to acquire additional hours that may be available covering other shifts within the Coffs Harbour station cluster.

The full-time rate of pay for this position is $1,281.40 per week, including the Industry Allowance. As a part-time employee, you will be paid on a pro-rata basis calculated on your agreed hours of work. In addition, you will also receive shift allowances, superannuation, and annual leave loading benefits on annual leave.
A Talent Pool will be created for current and future temporary and permanent part-time positions at Nambucca Heads Station over the next 18-month period. If you are deemed suitable at interview and a vacancy arises, you may be contacted and asked to complete pre-employment checks.

- You are resilient and have outstanding interpersonal skills to provide clear and accurate instructions and can manage difficult conversations with a diverse range of people from all walks of life.
- You are proactive and are confident to make prompt decisions whilst working alongside a variety of stakeholders in a safety focused operational environment.
