In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering essential infrastructure improvements on the Wallendbeen Bridge Approaches Project.
This fixed-term opportunity is for four Plant Operators to join the project team immediately, with roles continuing until December 2025.
This role will see you operate a variety of heavy plant machinery—such as backhoes, loaders, bobcats, mixers, stabilisers, and rollers—while performing both routine and complex manual tasks.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining safety standards, conducting equipment checks, identifying environmental hazards, and contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
You will drive operational excellence and workplace safety in a dynamic construction environment, helping deliver a critical project on time while developing your skills across multiple plant types.
Please note: This role involves living away from home unless you are local to Wallendbeen or surrounding areas, and will require long hours and some weekend work as part of project delivery.

About you
We’re seeking a team player and safety-focused plant operator who has experience in safe and efficient operations of plant such as backhoes, loaders, bobcats, mixers, stabilisers, and rollers.
You’ll be confident, and highly capable operating major plant and have proven experience rectifying simple hazards without direction and reporting them accordingly.
You must hold the following qualifications:
• White Card
• Current driver’s licence
