In this role, you'll:
Work to free up surplus land and assets to provide revenue which will be used across the portfolio to build capable sustainable transport services.
You will benefit the communities of NSW by divesting land that will be repurposed into recreational sites, housing initiatives and other uses.
Identify, manage, and coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex underutilised or non-operational Transport assets.
Manage and oversee property divestment planning, development and implementation.
Allow proactive and efficient transactions for community benefit by undertaking periodic reviews of internal and contracted service providers
Ensure compliance with governance and quality requirements
Undertake research and formulate recommendations
Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues

About you
You will be a Property Manager with experience working across a large complex portfolio.
With previous experience in town planning, conveyancing, and project management
You will have sound knowledge of Property Assessment & Disposal within a rail infrastructure or complex industrial land portfolio.
You have an understanding of contaminated land, life expired assets, old system title and heritage land title.
You’re an effective communicator both written and verbal.
You have the ability to managing consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, understanding their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests.
Strong project management skills will aid you to achieve project deadlines and milestones to standards and within budget.
A confident multitasker who can simultaneously coordinate and deliver multiple complex and interconnected projects.
You’re an autonomous worker, who will also thrive in a lend and lean environment within a team that supports one another
Knowledge of P6 would be advantageous yet not essential
This role is based in Newcastle, however other locations can be considered.
