In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of an experienced team assisting in the repair of our electrical Train fleet based at Mortdale Maintenance Centre.
You’ll be focused on attending to defective passenger cars, analysing problems, fault finding, troubleshooting and taking decisive action and repairs to ensure our trains remain in or return to service on time.
You’ll work independently but also be an integral part of a friendly and supportive team whilst keeping safety and quality as a top priority.
These are shift-based roles in a 24/7 environment, you will work a rotating roster as part of a team to support our network and as such will also include weekend work, public holidays and overtime.

About you
You have an electrical trade qualification and relevant electrical heavy engineering or maintenance experience as well as being an accomplished fault finder, strong communicator and lateral thinker!
You take pride in your work, enjoy resolving technical problems and issues as well as a willingness to further your knowledge, experience and skills with additional training.
You have proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks, be flexible and resourceful with a high degree of initiative.
You can work alone or can effectively collaborate with others to problem solve and get the job done.
