In this role, you'll:

 

  • Bring extensive experience in road construction and maintenance, particularly levelling and trimming processes.

 

  • Utilise your demonstrated ability to trim and finish road pavements to tight tolerances.

 

  • Operate plant machinery to achieve predetermined tolerances, achieving high quality and smooth road output.

 

  • Lead, monitor and control the operation of all other plant and staff in road operations being undertaken, particularly levelling and trimming processes.

 

  • On occasion, Undertake projects outside of Orange that will require working away from home. You will be paid a living away from home allowance, paid accommodation and paid travel time to and from work sites.

 

  • Perform the duties of a Road Worker Grade 3 when not operating the Grader

About you


We’re seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.


You are a well-seasoned Finishing Grader Operator with experience using GPS systems to assist with levels and alignment.
 

You will also hold the following:

 

  • White Card

 

  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s license

 

  • Experience operating plant machinery.

 

  • Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment.

 

A Medium Rigid and above truck licence, while not essential, would be advantageous.
 

Whilst this role is based in Orange, we also depot location in Lithgow.  You will be delivering works in the Central West and if you reside within 1hour travel of Orange, Bathurst or Lithgow - we want to hear from you.
