In this role, you'll:

 

Work as part of a team assisting in delivering successful professional court advocacy services and representation on behalf of TfNSW at various Local & District Courts, including preparation of court materials and appearing in court mentions to meet the business objectives of the Branch and the legislative requirements of TfNSW.

 

You will use your prosecution/advocacy skills representing TfNSW as a junior prosecutor in non-complex court matters, including mentions, general list work and administrative appeals, in an environment that provides a work/life balance and a flexible work approach.

 

Please note that this is a permanent role, and the office location is Parramatta, however you may be required to travel to court locations including Gosford, Wyong, Katoomba, Wollongong, Goulburn, Moss Vale.

About you

 

Your background as an advocate in local courts or similar environments with a knowledge of prosecution and appeal processes and the working of the local court and general legal procedures will enable you to join this busy, high performing team who values likeminded people.

 

You will be a team player with the ability to work autonomously in a high-volume environment, additionally you will be flexible, adaptable and proactive while being able to maintain a calm demeanour. Ideally you will possess a law degree, however demonstrated strong advocacy experience will equip you for the role.

 

Your recognised as an excellent communicator who is highly organised, solutions focussed with a "can do" attitude.
