Senior Software Engineer (Licencing) -Temporary Opportunity up to 12 Months

In this role, you'll:

Working within our Group Technology Branch, you’ll be engineering software solutions for projects relating to Licencing software across Transport for NSW.

You will influence and deliver quality software for projects through the software development life cycle. You will work with both functional and non-functional users, to analysis requirements, undertake testing, using suitable tools for diagnosing and rectifying issues and support application software releases and development updates. In addition to this you will be creating software and integration documentation.

The position is Temporary Fixed Term full time for up to 12 months and the home base for this role is Paramatta with Hybrid working arrangements. Current anchor day for the team is Wednesdays.

About you

You will be an expert of Software Engineer and possess strong written and verbal communication, as you will be expected to create  technical documentation and present to both technical and no technical stakeholders.

Technical skills required:

• Develop and maintain applications using CA:Gen
• Experience in creating frameworks
• Experience with any of the following: GuardIEn, Unix, Oracle, XML, CBD.
• Experience with integration patterns, asynchronous messaging, orchestration and legacy systems integration.
• Expertise in defining and documenting, software / integration requirements, high- and low-level designs, unit testing and performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of SDLC processes and experience in Software Development and Parallel Development.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile and Cloud based development - advantageous
