Boating Education Officer

You enjoy helping and interacting with all kinds of people.

You’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise in communication, problem-solving, empathy and conflict resolution to help thousands of people every day.

 

In this role, you'll:

Work as part of the Greater Sydney Boating Education team, contributing to the education of the boating community on matters of safe boating, boating legislation and on-water activities.
This role will see you working around our amazing waterways to support some exciting key aquatic events including Vivid, Australia day festivals, Sydney to Hobart race on Boxing Day as well as supporting your local boating community.

We have two great opportunities based at Rozelle and Sans Sousi. This is an operational position and will require the successful applicant to work on weekends.

About you

Your sound knowledge and understanding of the marine legislation relating to recreational boating in NSW and on water experience will see you succeed this role. You’ll be recognised as an industry expert, working within your local community to provide trusted boating safety education through various face-to-face interactions and presentations
