About you

We are looking for passionate individuals who have experience in a customer service environment and want to exceed customer expectations by providing an unforgettable experience. The successful applicants will be proactive and can work both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for exceptional interpersonal skills and able to deal with a variety of stakeholders. These positions will also need you to have the ability to work well in high pressure situations and deal with situations if they arise. 

 

The Roles

We are building a Talent Pool of On-board Train Crew to join our customer service delivery team within NSW TrainLink. These positions play a key role in ensuring customers experience an enjoyable journey. 

 

The roles will be located at our Albury, Dubbo, Grafton and Central Depots. You will be working across a 14-day rotating shift work roster including weekends and public holidays. You may also be required to work additional hours at short notice with the potential for overtime. These positions will require you to travel within Regional NSW and including overnight stays. The rostered shift lengths may vary depending on the travel location.

 

The Talent Pool will be created for current and future temporary and permanent that become available over the next 18-month period. If you are deemed suitable at interview and a vacancy arises in your preferred location, you may be contacted and asked to complete pre-employment checks.

 

Passenger Service Supervisor

Your key responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the on boarding team
  • Coordinating all services and collaborating with all the staff on the train during the travel
  • Providing customer with additional assistance and managing customer complaints
  • Lead and manage emergency and safety critical situation and working with key stakeholders.
  • Attending to customer requirements and assisting with luggage
  • On-board cleaning including cleaning on-board amenities
  • Lead crew engagement via pre-departure operational safety briefings.
  • Reinforce safety standards and safety behaviours
  • Take appropriate action to report and document service issues.

Salary will be $1,338.05 per week including superannuation and leave loading.

 

Senior Passenger Attendant

Your key responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Provide supervision to the passenger attendants working in the on-board cafeteria
  • In charge of customer catering, money and stock control
  • Ensuring the safety of all customers and resolve the issues
  • Attending to customer requirements and assisting with luggage
  • On-board cleaning including cleaning on-board amenities

Passenger Attendants

Your key responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Check in passengers and assist with luggage
  • Providing customer service and assistance
  • Ensuring the safety of all passengers
  • Preparing catering requirements for customers
  • On-board cleaning including cleaning public on-board amenities
