The Opportunity


Are you someone who enjoys taking ownership, loves challenges and is thrilled by seeing things through while balancing the stakeholder expectations related to project cost, quality and timelines?

If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Program Delivery Lead within the Customer Strategy and Experience team of the Customer Strategy and Technology division at Transport for NSW. You will supports the Customer Experience and Design teams by working with stakeholders to understand their needs and to propose involvement of the right Customer Strategy & Technology (CST) expert groups to ensure the successful delivery of design outcomes across the disciplines. 

 

What you will be involved in,

 

  • You will be accountable for promoting the team’s and CST’s services and partner closely with internal stakeholders on key initiatives and projects.
  • You will need to learn about and advocate for our expert teams in Wayfinding, Urban Design, Service Design, Branding, Marketing, Pricing & Revenue, Digital and more.
  • You will support medium size infrastructure projects.
  • You should be able to adopt the position of key interface manager for nominated programs and ensure consistency of practice across projects.
  • Identify, document, scheduling report, manage and/or escalate project risks, changes to project scope including the identification of alternate management strategies.

 
About you,

 

  • This role is best suited to a self-driven person who has advanced interface management skills and who perseveres when faced with obstacles, and is comfortable addressing contentious issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with professionals across levels and divisions, and is able to keep their finger on the pulse and with a proven ability to exercise sound judgement, risk mitigation and problem solving ability especially in a multi- project environment.
  • Extensive experience in solving complex and diverse business problems and driving projects from strategy to execution
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience influencing others in varied environments across stakeholders at all levels.

Remuneration Package – Transport Grade 8 ($120,423- $134,872) plus employers contribution to superannuation, plus annual leave loading
