In this role, you'll:
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced project development analyst to be a part of our fast paced and supportive team at Sydney Metro’s Project Development and Extensions team.
The primary purpose of the role is to lead and support project development activities for Sydney Metro’s business case pipelines. The role provides assistance in the provision of planning, analysis, evaluation and research to enable the project development phase of both existing and future Sydney Metro projects.
- Undertake and support the analysis of land use, housing and transport demand data to inform the development of project business cases
- Undertake research of wider transport and land use policy to support consistency with State and local planning strategies
- Provide a range of project management, communication, and administrative services to contribute to the development and delivery of project milestones.
- Apply an understanding of improved customer outcomes, value for money, land use planning, and other relevant variables to support well informed project development activities.
- Provide support to the development of integrated strategies and solutions to achieve safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable metro projects that meet customer needs
- In consultation with stakeholders, ensure project deliverables are implemented, recorded, and communicated on an ongoing basis

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised and excels in project planning. You thrive in a fast paced, highly complex environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a part of a team.
Additionally, you would have:
- Relevant project development or business case development experience.
- Demonstrated interest in strategic planning or early planning for major infrastructure.
- Up to date knowledge of planning issues, trends and the NSW Governments key strategic directions.
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field.
- GIS mapping capability or experience is desirable.
