The Opportunity
 

Currently, we have an opportunity for a seasoned Senior Project Manager (Finance and Commercial), where you will lead internal stakeholders through the project life cycle across a suite of programs, including preparing plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and in line with NSWTL finance and commercial requirements. The role provides strategic and specialist support to management, development, implementation, reporting and monitoring to NSWT project deliverables that result in effectiveness of to service delivery, operational stability and financial sustainability. This is an exciting time to join NSW Trainlink with a new intercity and regional fleet being rolled out to service NSW.

 

      About You
 

You are a passionate, pragmatic leader with a background in commercial finance from a large complex organisation. Able to wear several different hats and influence others effectively with a demonstrated background in programs or projects in finance and commercial. You will have demonstrated experience in analysing and interpreting complex problems and issues, making sound recommendations and presenting financial management advice to non-financial staff.  We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure and is energised by the challenges presented in our complex and ever-changing work environment.
