We work with several government agencies to coordinate road, rail, bus and maritime services, always keeping the safety and comfort of our customers at the heart of what we do.

.

The opportunity

We’ve defined our cultural aspiration of putting customer at the centre, people at the heart and being for the greater good in everything we do and this role will play a pivotal role in bringing this to life as part of a collaborative and driven team in the People Experience branch.

The Strategic Programs Lead will lead the design, development, implementation and evaluation of ways of working programs across Transport, with an initial focus on embedding hybrid working.

With flexible working as an underlying theme, the Strategic Programs Lead will also support other leadership, culture, workplace, technology, system and policy change projects to facilitate alignment and support the achievement of our desired business outcomes.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead the design and development of strategic people-focused programs using the discover, co-design and scale principles outlined in Transport’s People Strategy, with an initial focus on embedding hybrid working.
  • Lead the implementation of associated projects and initiatives with these programs.
  • Work effectively in partnership with other parts of the People and Culture Division to develop and implement tools and resources for leaders and teams to support them in adopting and applying new ways of working.
  • Work effectively in partnership with other parts of the organisation to drive the ‘hardwiring’ of our aspirational culture and new ways of working into systems, processes and policies.
  • Lead the evaluation of the effectiveness of strategic programs and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Research, analyse and report on current, workplace global trends and best practice.
  • Demonstrate the five ways of leading behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people and communities for the greater good.
