Have you got what it takes? 

 

Please be aware that our approximate 12-month intensive training program runs to a tight schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Leave breaks are built into the program. With such an extensive and tightly scheduled program, it is not possible to accommodate for extended leave outside of the annual leave allocated. In addition to working a 24/7 rotating roster across evenings, weekends and public holidays, you will also commit to studying various challenging topics including train operating systems, understanding signals in the network, safeworking and emergency procedures.

Requirements 

 

For permanent positions in the NSW Public Sector, you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. To be considered for this role you must be 18+ years of age.  This is a Trainee position, and all training will be provided. You do not need previous work experience in the rail industry to apply. 

 

This is a highly sought-after role. As part of the application process, you will be required to answer all pre-screening questions.
