Senior Project Engineer

In this role, you'll:
Lead teams to plan and deliver a range of infrastructure projects, maintenance programs and contracts ensuring they are delivered on time, in budget and to the quality standard we demand.
The role will involve management of detailed delivery planning and control for projects including review and analysis of project information to develop delivery plans and schedules that ensure safe, efficient and customer focused project and program delivery.
Additionally: you’ll be involved in:
- Leading and managing the safe, efficient, and effective planning and delivery of projects and programs to ensure that they are completed to time, cost, quality, and scope as specified and agreed to meet the client’s and customer requirements.
- Ensuring customer communications are managed and issues resolved in accordance with Transport objectives.
- Developing and implementing project briefs for contractor and internal service providers to ensure projects are managed and delivered effectively.
This role is temporary full-time up to 24 months. The home base is Tweed Heads, and some travel may be required on occasion.

About you
To be considered for this role you will have a four-year civil/structural or electrical engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
You have proven experience in Project Development and Delivery and Program Management, including strong project governance and documentation control. Additionally, you have experience in Contract Management, including tendering and Contract Administration.
You will be a proactive analytical thinker and possess high level communication skills. The ability to astutely manage time and work collaboratively and closely with stakeholders to deliver is paramount, as is your dedicated commitment to safety and quality.
You possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and be willing to work outside regular working hours and travel on occasion.
