In this role, you'll:


Provide assistance to technicians working on XPT cars and other rolling stock to contribute to the reliability and availability levels for the diesel passenger fleet.
 
This Labourer position is a non skilled role and an opportunity for you to assist the maintenance centre with various labour activities such as; underbelly train washing, helping tradesmen, cleaning depot facilities, unloading/loading delivery trucks.


• 4 weekly rotating roster
• Mix of 10 and 12 hr shifts
• Average 4 days on and 3 – 6 days off (Overtime when required).

About you


You’re reliable, poractive and have the ability to work collaboratively with Trades staff across a variety of departments.
 
The following are desirable but not essential:
• Trade background
• Train maintenance experience
• Current C Class Drivers Licence

This is an in-person, on-site permanent full-time role based at the XPT Sydenham maintenance centre.
