In this role, you'll:

 

Work within The Regional Infrastructure Development team and be responsible for the development of transport solutions to ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities.

 

As the Senior Project Development Officer, you will join our Wagga Wagga based Regional Infrastructure Development team working across southwestern regional NSW

 

You will be responsible for supporting road and bridge infrastructure projects’ early development through to completing concept design, environmental approval and business case preparation.

 

This includes managing or coordinating project investigations, detailed scoping, strategic and concept designs, safety assessments, cost management, stakeholder consultation and environmental assessment of major infrastructure development projects.

 

You will actively work on a number of large and small solutions to get the best outcome for Transport customers across NSW.

About you


You'll have a broad technical understanding of what’s involved with developing infrastructure projects, ideally having experience in road, rail or infrastructure projects.

Demonstrated project development experience would be an advantage.

You will have the proven ability to work within and provide support to multidisciplinary teams and technical or specialist staff.

Demonstrated experience in managing relationships and liaising a wide range of stakeholders to achieve project objectives (desirable but not essential)

Have the ability to understand Transport for NSW design, stakeholder engagement, environmental assessment and business case processes (desirable but not essential)

Relevant tertiary qualifications & or equivalent relevant experience in developing major transport related projects would be well regarded
